We are looking for thrift store volunteers to help out in our donation center. Contact us for more information.
Donations are tax deductible and accepted on site during business hours. Tax receipts are provided upon request.

-Accessories- handbags, shoes, boots, scarves, hats, belts, gloves,
-Luggage, Jewelry, vintage collectibles
-Bedding and linens. No mattresses or bed frames
- Decorative pillows, throws,
- Home décor, knick-knacks, framed artwork
-Musical instruments
-Housewares and small appliances- stereos, cd players, dvd players, fans, blenders, mixers, irons, power hand tools
-Large appliances- refrigerators, freezers, washer/dryers, stoves,
- Movies, music, board games, puzzles electronic games ----Bikes, scooters, skateboards
-Garden tools
-Holiday decorations
-Outdoor and indoor furniture
-Lawn decorations, sporting goods
-Books-cookbooks, novels, children’s books.

By donating used items and shopping at secondhand stores, such as Planet Green Thrift Store, you are reducing air, land and water pollution. Many items that get thrown away and put into landfills are perfectly useable! Landfill waste is a leading cause of methane gas that contributes to global warming and other environmental problems. In addition to selling used textiles at our store, we donate a portion overseas to help clothe people in need.

We carry a variety of plastic alternatives in our store to include reusable shopping bags, coffee tumblers and plastic free soap/shampoo bars
Strategy #3-PGP holds biannual community cleanup events and encourages the community to get involved with keeping the roads clean of trash and litter. We have adopted 2 miles of highway through the Pennsylvania Adopt a Highway program. PGP also advertises and sponsors local events that are in alignment with our mission such as Delaware

Not only are you reducing landfill waste which contributes to global warming, but you will create rich fertilizer to add to your garden for fruits/vegetables and plants.
We accept donations on site daily during business hours.
Yes! We offer donation pick up services for people that live in Delaware County or New Castle County. However, we no longer pick up heavy furniture. We will happily pick up any of your other donations that can be picked up by one strong person. This can include, but it’s not limited to clothing, linens, housewares, and small pieces of furniture. You can schedule your pickup right on our website.
